God so loves Modesto, that it gives everthing of itself, that Modesto and the world will have an opportunity to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and not perish but have everlasting life.

We, the body of Christ, of Community Assembly, commit ourselves to win the lost, train the won, and to release them into ministry. We are committed to three astpects of ministry: upward to God, outward to the lost and inward towards our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Upward to God: We understand our first responsibility as priests before the Lord is to minister unto Him.

Outward to the Lost: We understand we are God's hands extended to reach out to the lost and oppressed.

Inward to one another: We understand we are all a part of the Body of Christ. We are committed to disciple new believers, to teach and train all believers with the biblical disciplines of the Christian Life, and to lead them into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit; to equip believers to serve with their God-given abilities under the leadership of the pastoral team.

We sense this to be the very heartbeat of God for Community Assembly. We, as a congregation, lay down every selfish ambition and every sin that so easily entangles us and agree to work together in harmony and unity with these goals in mind. That "We might press towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus together."
